D6.2 Final design of the Single Access Point published - February 2027
D6.3 Operational Single Access Point portal - August 2028
BMD's Single Access Point is the key result of the BMD project and will deliver a unified gateway to the aforementioned tools and analysis pipelines that are needed to deliver a comprehensive and evolving view of Europe's State of Nature. The BMD SAP will be fully co-designed with the stakeholder communities, and will provide access to:
High-throughput biodiversity monitoring tools incl. image, sound, e-DNA and AI taxon identification services.
Historical baseline and legacy biodiversity dataset publishing tools and guidelines.
A data catalogue with spatio-temporal data on relevant (a)biotic, environmental and climatic conditions that determine the distribution of species or represent drivers of biodiversity change.
Co-designed visualisation tools for terrestrial, freshwater and marine realms to analyse the state of nature, identify drivers of change and facilitate standardised reporting from local to EU scales.
A web-GIS data viewer to visually consult the visualisation tools results and all data that is aggregated in the BMD data catalogue.
