BMD introductory video is now available on YouTube
The Biodiversity Meets Data (BMD) fully animated introductory video is now live on YouTube and on the project website, offering an overview of how the project is advancing biodiversity monitoring and supporting better conservation across Europe.
The video introduces the project and its work to improve access to biodiversity data and monitoring tools for Natura 2000 site managers, researchers and policymakers. It highlights how BMD combines an innovative high-throughput monitoring tool with AI-assisted species identification to enable faster, more accurate and more frequent biodiversity monitoring.
The video also explores how BMD is working closely with stakeholders through a programme of engagement activities designed to inform, involve and support users. Through this collaborative approach, stakeholders play an important role in shaping the development of the Biodiversity Explorer and Biodiversity Analysis Tools, helping ensure they respond to real conservation and policy needs.
