BMD participates with a poster at the Datarium Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland

BMD will be part of the open-air Datarium exhibition “At the Heart of Life Science Data” starting on 3 August. This exhibition is being developed as part of the outreach and public engagement activities surrounding the 25th European Conference on Computational Biology (ECCB 2026) in Geneva, and more specifically the #GenevaLovesData programme, taking place between 31 August and 4 September.

Organised by the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB), the exhibition explores how life‑science data and bioinformatics help address major societal challenges and includes a section dedicated to environmental protection and biodiversity. Within this section, the BMD project will demonstrate via a poster how data‑driven approaches support the understanding, monitoring, and preservation of biodiversity.

The Datarium will be running for one month and will also be accompanied by an associated digital version.

You can register for the Conference before 14 August, though lower fees will only be available until 30 June.
